Our Management Advisory Group

The Management Advisory Group will consist of some key professionals who are working or have worked in the local community and are instrumental in things happening.

Kath Gresty
she is Community Learning Manager for the College and lives in Skelmersdale. She used to work for Tomorrows People Today then TP Training then TWL before moving to the college.

Ann Barton
Ann retired recently form the college where she worked in the HR department. She also used to work for TPT and was Administrative Manager before moving to the college.

Joan Brindle
She is the Manager for the Moving On Skelmersdale Project and a Director of Moving On Lancashire. She has an interesting background as she has worked in Horticultural Training at a college and is a trained Counsellor.

Deidre Mitten
She is Chief Executive of Skelmersdale Food Initiative so has a great deal to offer if we decide to grow food as well. She has worked with people with drug and alcohol problems so brings a varied amount of experience to the table.

Christine Jones
Is the wife of the Chairman, Eric Jones and Christine is very interested in what we are doing and brings her HR knowledge to the table.

Adrian Beardmore
Adrian is the new Police contact for the West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership.

Paul Morton
Paul is the main contact for Myerscough College and is the Assistant Director of Enterprise.

Clare Gillard
Parish Councillor for Newburgh and has worked at the college delivering Mental Health Courses.

Ian Farmer
A retired Deputy Principal of Skelmersdale College. Ian has taught on most of the types of courses that we are likely to utilise within this project but he also comes with extensive knowledge of the FE system.
