Our Marketing Plan
The Red Apple Nursery will be growing plants under the direction of Graeme Iddon a well known and respected plants man from Hesketh Bank. Graeme has a National reputation. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants and what will sell and what plants will not sell. He has picked the plants he wishes to grow in the Nursery and together with the plants that are inherited will put the appropriate amount of time in before moving the plants on.

It is hoped that by next year Graeme will have established the Red Apple Nursery as a main player in the Flower Growing Industry. He will combine his knowledge of plants with the training and development opportunities that this project will provide for local people.
The work with Animals and Rare Breeds will not be developed until the nursery is going strong. The market for good meat is very strong especially if it is naturally produced and organically developed. The Chairman Eric Jones sits on the Lancashire Support Committee for the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and has the best advice in the country for the development of this part of the work.
The main product of the whole project is the people. The farm techniques and work are a by product of the main work which is to provide opportunities for people recovering from Health problems or are long term unemployed. It is here where the focus will be to enable the NHS Central Lancashire Trust and the local GP's and Practice Nurses having the place to direct people to work on the Nursery or the farm for their own well-being.
